Paramount Summer Classic Film Series presented by Capital Metro

The Night of the Hunter

1955 | 93 min. | B&W | 35mm
Director: Charles Laughton
Cast: Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters, and Lillian Gish

This was the only film directed by Charles Laughton, who was known mostly for acting in films like The Private Life of Henry VIII and Mutiny on the Bounty. Well, what a one-hit wunderkind he proved to be, coaxing a chilling performance out of Robert Mitchum as a murderous evangelist who will stop at nothing to steal a widow’s fortune.

Tickets: $12
Film Fan Admission: $8
FLIX-TIX: 10 admissions for $60 ($50 for Film Fans)

Double Feature: This film is a part of a Double Feature with Out of the Past at 8:50. When two movies that are screening in the same theatre are grouped under the same thematic heading, one ticket is good for both features when viewed back-to-back on the same day (except as noted).
