Lyle Lovett has said, “If we could all sing like we wanted to, we’d all sing like Delbert.”

The multi-Grammy Award-winning artist is at the top of his game with his latest studio album, 2017’s Prick of the Litter, which captures the balance of soulful energy and restraint that the legendary performer has been delivering in his live performances for decades.

This February, witness Delbert’s signature rhythm and blues sound with a newer jazz influence inspired by Johnny Mercer, Nat King Cole and other legendary crooners. His band, the Self-Made Men, provide a hard-driving rhythm section, powerful guitars and innovative piano, accented by punched-up horns that take the performance to a whole other level.

We are proud to partner with The Nobelity Project to present Austin Honors Delbert Weekend, a special celebration that will bring together music fans from across the city to honor Texas’ beloved rock and blues legend all weekend long, Feb 8–10.

Fri, Feb 8: Attend a rare event as we unveil a Marquee Star for Delbert on Congress Avenue in front of our theatre doors at 1pm. This occasion will mark only the third star given to a musician and the fifth ever, with previous honorees including Lyle Lovett, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jaston Williams and Joe Sears. Free and open to the public.

Sat, Feb 9: Revisit Delbert’s impressive catalog when he takes the Paramount stage with the Self-Made Men for a can’t-miss evening of music.

Sun, Feb 10: The Nobelity Project will hold their annual Feed the Peace Awards at The Four Seasons. This year, they are thrilled to present the Feed the Peace Award to Delbert, an artist who has been a dedicated supporter of many great charitable causes in Texas and a leading example for all. Following the award ceremony, the evening will conclude with a show-stopping performance by Delbert and band, along with special guests. More information about tables and tickets is available at
