The Nobelity Project is celebrating 25 years, three feature films and dozens of school partnerships with a 20th Anniversary screening of The Paramount Premiere of Nobelity, in a double feature with the sequel, One Peace at a Time. The nonprofit is also launching one last and lasting project: three University Endowments in Kenya and in Austin.”

Nobelity

20th Anniversary!

(2006, 86min/color, Digital) Directed by Turk Pipkin.

A stunning look at the world’s most pressing problems through the eyes of Nobel laureates, Nobelity features the insights of Desmond Tutu, Jody Williams, Austin’s Steve Weinberg, Wangari Maathai and many others. Filmed across the U.S., in France, Great Britain, India and Africa, Nobelity follows filmmaker Turk Pipkin’s personal journey to find answers about the kind of world our children and grandchildren will know.

One Peace at a Time

(2009, 83min/color, Digital) Directed by Turk Pipkin.

A film about a messed up world...and how we could fix it. Sprinkled with music from Bob Dylan, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, and Willie Nelsen, One Peace at A Time lyrically weaves a tapestry through 20 countries and is as magical as it is informative. Activist Turk Pipkin continues his global journey of knowledge in action with a goal to create a virtual road map to a better future by focusing on specific solutions in these troubled times. Join Pipkin as he chronicles the model Indian orphanages of The Miracle Foundation, family planning initiatives with Thailand's Mechai Viravaidya, Ethiopian water projects with A Glimmer of Hope, and Architecture for Humanity's global design challenge for communities in need in the Himalayas, the Amazon, and Nairobi.
