Join us for a special screening of Rescued Hearts - the powerful award-winning documentary proudly brought to this community by HorseLink. The filmmakers will be in attendance for a meaningful time of reflection following the film.
Inspired by a life-changing moment when a 7-year-old child diagnosed with autism spoke his first words while interacting with a horse, filmmakers Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton set out to explore the profound and often miraculous connection between horses and humans.
Through deeply moving stories and expert insight, the film reveals how horses offer a space where healing and transformation can unfold - a space where healing is never one-sided.
Rating: Rescued Hearts carries no official rating, but it does contain sensitive themes within the healing journeys shared. These topics may not be suitable for younger viewers.
About the host: HorseLink is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that gives retired performance horses more than just a pasture to live out their days. They provide a permanent sanctuary where these remarkable athletes can find new purpose and value. Through equine-assisted programs, horses who have given so much in competition find a nurturing home that honors their journeys. At the same time, people discover profound healing and growth through meaningful interactions with these sensitive beings.
We are embarking on a revitalization project that will preserve the Paramount and completely reimagine the State. But we can’t do it without your support.
